Enterprise Bank is an independent, locally managed, expanding, and vibrant organization. Since its inception in 1989, Enterprise Bank has searched out the "best of the best" to help fuel the success of this dynamic organization. We recognize potential and can help you develop yours. Gain direct access to senior management, rotate through key profit centers of the bank, continue your education, and prepare for your role as a future leader at Enterprise Bank and the financial industry. The rewards can be great both personally and professionally.

Overview

Our investment in the professional development of our management candidates is critical to the future growth and success of the bank.

Mission and Goal of the Program: The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is designed to develop our next generation of leaders.

The LDP program includes:

Candidate Expectations:

Motivate Inspire Lead Succeed

LDP members are “high potential “ graduates who have demonstrated leadership and academic excellence- ultimately creating a high level of expectation from the Enterprise Bank Leadership Development Program Facilitators, Administrators, Mentors and from the Senior Management Team.

This high level of expectation applies to all parties involved with the Program. The role of Enterprise Bank leaders is to serve as  catalysts, facilitators, idea generators and problem solvers / negotiators. The Leadership Development Program is evaluated and monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure it continually challenges the abilities of its existing participants and that the "best of the best" are recruited for future hiring classes.

Targeted candidates include those who possess (through work experience or education) the aptitude and attitude to lead a professional team of bankers. The assignments presented to each recruit are structured to provide enough time to gain knowledge of a designated area and take on a contributor role. The purpose of this individual contributor role is to acquire new ways to influence, convince and motivate members of our Enterprise Bank  team, each participant will receive valuable exposure to strategy and leadership at this level.

Throughout the Program, participants are expected to; take every advantage to learn about different aspects of the bank, attend meetings and training, become involved in the community, offer honest feedback, and build a relationship with their mentors.

LDP participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity, a strong work ethic, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Candidate Qualifications:

Professional Development:

The LDP Program provides participants with both on-site and off-site training opportunities conducted by knowledgeable professionals. Examples of training seminars that have been hosted in the past include:

Most of the training is done in a series of sessions, as opposed to a single session, to allow for ongoing and continuous improvement of the LDP participants. Personal and Professional Development is a key component in the success of the program, and it is taken very seriously by both the participants and the program facilitators.

Mentoring:

The Program provides structure with constructive feedback from each department as the foundation for independent and team learning projects. LDP participants are seen as unique individuals and each participant has the opportunity to excel and become the "best of the best".  Honest feedback from each partipant is strongly encouraged.  We ensure resources are available to support successful career development. Resources include a professional mentor, evaluations for professional development, access to training, and special project opportunities.

Completion of LPD:

The goal at the end of the program is for successful candidates to have learned, through experience and further professional development, how to effectively create and inspire powerful teams, providing the opportunity to build their leadership roles in the organization.

Previous participants have consistently demonstrated an eagerness to be challenged. We expect high-performers who want to develop an exciting and rewarding professional career path, and provide them with opportunties to work in programs that combine the risk of pushing forward with the reward of career advancement.
