The Coalition for a Better Acre has invested more than $167 million in developing stable neighborhoods in Lowell and Haverhill. They currently house more than 1,400 residents in 476 affordable rental units and support 30 companies in commercial spaces. It was Enterprise Bank Founder George Duncan that offered to fund their project to redevelop dilapidated buildings for residents, saving a neighborhood from being completely destroyed. Without Enterprise, the project—and CBA—may never have succeeded. Since day one, Enterprise Bank has been CBA’s leading local funder for construction and redevelopment projects, as well as providing lines of credit for operations and cash management services.
Enterprise Bank took a personal interest in helping the Coalition for a Better Acre dilapidated buildings that kept residents in their community and brought a neighborhood back to life.
