Enterprise Bank Team Members support The Sun Santa Fund

Enterprise Bank team members presented a record breaking $14,500 donation to the 2019 Lowell Sun Santa Fund, surpassing the previous year’s results of $11,000. The contribution to Sun Santa is directly from the team members at Enterprise Bank, who organize and host fundraising events. Departments and branches plan and support a variety of fundraisers throughout the year including Baked Potato Day, a Holiday Breakfast, and several Bake Sales.

In addition to these events, the Sun Santa “Elves” hosted the annual “Sun Santa Countdown to Christmas” Calendar Raffle. Team members could purchase raffle tickets for the opportunity to win prizes, with all proceeds benefiting Sun Santa. For the entire month of December, at least two prizes were raffled off each business day including numerous bonus and mystery prizes. Prizes included gift cards and gift baskets donated by departments within the bank, along with bonus, mystery, and “Grand Prizes.” Grand prizes for the 2019 raffle included premium tickets to the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins games, a “Fire and Ice” package that included a fire pit filled with treats and two ski passes, and a 50” Smart TV.

The Sun Santa fundraiser, established in 1989, has raised approximately $2 million over the course of three decades. The mission of Sun Santa is to provide food, clothing, and toys for those less fortunate living in the Greater Lowell Community each Holiday Season. None of this would be possible without the generous contributions from local businesses, organizations, and individuals.
