Lowell Connector Branch Celebrates 20 Years

Under blue skies, the tulips bloomed brilliantly in the flower beds at 430 Gorham Street as the Lowell “Connector” Branch celebrated its 20 year anniversary. The branch, located in Lowell’s Back Central neighborhood, sits at the entrance ramp to the Lowell Connector, which links the city to Interstate 495 and U.S. Route 3.

Customers, invited guests, and bankers gathered on April 29 for presentations by George Duncan, Enterprise Bank founder and chairman, and Warren Shaw, president of Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation.

Potted tulips and information about the meaning behind various tulip colors were presented to visitors, and refreshments and activities were available throughout the day. The tulip beds border the building and the parking lot along Gorham and Walnut Streets, and are a welcome sight each spring.
