Enterprise Bank recognized by NHBFA

Enterprise Bank was recognized by the State of New Hampshire Business Finance Authority as their Veteran Lender of the Year. During an awards event held October 19 in Concord, Enterprise Bank was recognized for providing BFA backed financing to veteran-owned Able Ebenezer Brewing last year.

Able Ebenezer Brewing Company LLC, established in 2013, is an independent craft brewery located in Merrimack, NH. Owners Carl Soderberg and Michael Frizzelle are both veterans of the U.S. Army. In mid-2020, as a direct result of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the company started a home delivery service to 17 towns and cities in New Hampshire, which saw tremendous success and caused the need for increased inventory and supplies. Enterprise Bank and the BFA Capital Access Program helped to finance a large bulk purchase of cans to support the delivery and takeout operations.

Peter Rayno, Enterprise Bank’s NH Community Banking & Lending Director, EVP, said, “Enterprise Bank has worked with the BFA since we first came to New Hampshire nearly 17 years ago. Through the State of NH Business Finance Authority’s Capital Access Program and other programs the BFA provides for the small businesses of New Hampshire, we have assisted hundreds of businesses with financing for diverse purposes ranging from working capital to equipment acquisition.”
