Enterprise Bankers Walk for Cancer Care

The Lowell General Hospital 2023 TeamWalk for Cancer Care took place on Sunday, May 21. Approximately 50 Enterprise Bankers, friends, and family members gathered at the Tsongas Center with hundreds of other teams, walkers, and event volunteers to participate in the three-mile walk. According to LGH TeamWalk organizers, the event raised $661,185.

After taking team photos, browsing sponsor tents, and enjoying pre-walk refreshments and the opening ceremony, walkers embarked on the course that started and ended at the Tsongas Center. The route featured shaded paths along the Merrimack River before looping through downtown, along some of the canals, and back towards the river to finish at the Tsongas Center. Bands provided musical motivation and volunteers lined the route offering direction, encouragement, and thanks to the walkers. After the walk, lunch refreshments from food and hospitality sponsors were served.

In addition to individual fundraising conducted by team members, Enterprise Bankers served as team organizers and event volunteers. In the weeks before the TeamWalk, various bank departments assembled and donated 19 baskets covering a variety of themes which were raffled off to raise funds donated to the TeamWalk event.
