Supporting Organizations that Support Veterans
In recognition of Veterans Day, we are pleased to support two local organizations that provide services and support to our military veterans. From October 10 through November 14, 2024, all branches of Enterprise Bank will collect items which will be donated to organizations based in our service area that support our veterans.
Our military veterans have risked their lives in service to our country and our freedom. Many veterans leave their military service and enter civilian life with invisible wounds such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which can impact daily life.
To help alleviate some of the basic needs and challenges faced by local veterans, our branches will accept donations of new items which will be donated to two designated organizations serving veterans in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Massachusetts
Donations collected at our Massachusetts branches will be presented to Hidden Battles Foundation.
Hidden Battles Foundation, based in Dracut, MA, is a nonprofit organization that strives to help preserve the healthy minds of active and retired military/veterans, fire fighters, law enforcement, EMS, 911 dispatch, and nurses. Through community based and peer led activity driven treatment and counseling for depression, suicidal tendencies, and PTSD, the organization works to improve the mental health of our heroes and their loved ones.
Our defenders are absorbing the horrors of their occupations and struggle with the hidden battles fought in their minds on a daily basis. Whether it is the horrors of war, personal injury, or a fatal car crash, the effects are everlasting. Over the course of their careers, the stress piles up to sometimes a fatal level.
Specific items requested by Hidden Battles are:
- Foot warmers
- Hand warmers
- Hats
- Gloves
- Scarves

New Hampshire
Donations collected at our New Hampshire branches will be presented to Operation Delta Dog.
Hollis, NH based Operation Delta Dog is a uniquely innovative New England organization harnessing the power of the animal-human connection by rescuing shelter dogs at-risk of euthanasia and training them as life-saving service companions for traumatized veterans at-risk of suicide–potentially saving the lives of veterans as well as their canine companions.
Their vision is to reduce the veteran suicide rate in the regions served by empowering the return to a healthy and happy civilian life, while simultaneously providing homeless dogs with a new life filled with purpose. Operation Delta Dog serves veterans experiencing the “invisible” disabilities of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST). In addition to specially trained service dogs, veterans receive intensive training classes, individual case management, the support of fellow veterans as mentors, direct financial assistance, and inclusion in a supportive community network, after graduation and beyond.
Items needed by Operation Delta Dog are:
- Cans of Pure Pumpkin
- Benebones
- Nyla bones
- Chewy Dog Treats (please, not crunchy)
- 6 Foot Leashes
- Large Fleece Blankets
- Gift Cards to Pet Stores
- Gift cards to local restaurants for public outings for the Veteran to take their training dogs.
