Thanks for Another Belle of the Ball Success Story!
Enterprise Bank is proud to once again join Anton’s Cleaners and Jordan’s Furniture as a corporate partner and sponsor for the annual Belle of the Ball prom dress collection program. We put out the call for prom gown donations, our customers and community delivered, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Thanks to your inspiring and overwhelming generosity, we collected 400 gowns for the program this year. Together, we were able to help make attending the prom less stressful for hundreds of high school students in our region.
Collection boxes were placed in all 27 Enterprise Bank branch locations and buildings within the Lowell Campus during February and March. The donated gowns are professionally cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners and distributed at no charge to high school junior and senior girls from more than 200 participating schools throughout MA and NH. These students would not otherwise be able to afford to attend their school’s prom.
Boutique Day, held on Saturday, March 22, was where magic happened for the 1,800 students invited to the event. Our team of 45 Enterprise Bankers was amongst the 750 volunteers who helped make the day a stellar success. Volunteers served as personal shoppers helping students choose their prom dresses and guiding them through the experience of picking out shoes, purses, and jewelry.
In the weeks leading up to the event, Bank volunteers were busy with preparations. They unboxed and organized shoes for Boutique Day attendees and went to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston the day before the event to set up and organize displays of thousands of gowns in all sizes, colors, and styles, plus shoes, purses, and accessories.
Alison Burns, Enterprise Bank Community Relations and Customer Experience Director, SVP, and member of the Caring Partners Board, said, “Boutique Day is a success thanks to all the amazing volunteers answering the call to help in a variety of roles before and during the event. When the students walk down the red carpet in their prom attire, the joy on their faces says it all. So many Belles of the Ball! The energy was incredible, and the day was filled with so many heartwarming moments. This community effort aligns perfectly with our founding mission to help create vibrant, prosperous communities and we are proud to be part of it.”
Since the program’s inception in 2005, nearly 77,000 prom gowns have been collected and cleaned for local students in need. The program has grown from outfitting fewer than 100 girls to inviting more than 1,000 young ladies to Boutique Day. For more information about Belle of the Ball, visit http://antons.com/belle/.
